Privacy policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what personal data terslab.com collects, why it is used, who processes it and how to exercise your rights over it. It applies to this website, its contact form, its assistant and the free visibility audit form.
Who is responsible
TersLab operates this website through two companies: TERS, LLC in the United States and GRAPICS S.A.S. in Argentina. For any question about your personal data, write to hey@terslab.com.
The hosting service contracted on the hosting page is provided by GRAPICS S.A.S. under its own terms and conditions.
What data we collect
- Inquiries. When you send an inquiry through the contact form or the assistant: your name and email; optionally, your company, country, WhatsApp or phone number, the services you are interested in and how you found us; your message or, in the assistant, the goal and timing you choose.
- Free visibility audit. When you request the free Google and AI visibility audit: your name, email and website address; optionally, your WhatsApp or phone number and the searches that matter to your business.
- Attribution. The page where your first visit started, the site that linked to it (its address without the query string), campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), ad click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid) and the date of that first visit. This data stays in your browser for up to 90 days and is sent to us only together with an inquiry.
- Technical and usage data. IP address, browser, device, pages visited and interactions, collected by the provider that hosts the website and by the measurement tools listed below.
- Hosting contracts. The details the contract requires, listed in its terms, and the record of your acceptance. Payment is completed on the Mercado Pago site: card details are entered there, not on terslab.com.
- Job applications are sent through our hub at app.terslab.com, not through this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and prepare a proposal.
- To prepare the free visibility audit you request and send it to you by email.
- To understand which channels bring inquiries, and to measure and improve the website and our campaigns.
- To contract, bill and support the hosting service.
- To keep the form free of automated submissions: a hidden field detects spam.
You provide inquiry data voluntarily when you send it. TersLab does not sell the data sent through its forms.
Service providers
These providers take part in processing the data:
- Supabase: the database where inquiries are stored.
- Cloudflare: hosting and delivery of the website.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4: Tag Manager loads the measurement tools and Analytics measures visits and events. The Google Ads conversion linker keeps ad click identifiers.
- Meta Pixel: measures visits and inquiries for advertising on Meta platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram.
- Microsoft Clarity: records sessions (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) to produce session replays and heatmaps.
- Mercado Pago: payment of hosting subscriptions.
- Make and Google Workspace: archive hosting contracts and send their confirmation email.
The measurement tools only load on terslab.com and www.terslab.com. Their events do not include your name, email, phone, company or message. Some providers process data outside Argentina, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries: while we are in conversation or working together, and afterwards only as long as legal or accounting obligations require. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- Attribution data in your browser: up to 90 days. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it earlier.
- Measurement data: according to the retention settings of each tool.
- Hosting contracts: as set out in the hosting terms and the applicable law.
Your rights
You can ask to access, rectify, update or delete your personal data by writing to hey@terslab.com from the address you used. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Argentina. Personal Data Protection Law 25,326 applies. You can exercise the right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless you show a legitimate interest in doing so earlier (article 14, paragraph 3). The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP), as the enforcement authority of Law 25,326, handles complaints from anyone whose rights have been affected by a breach of the personal data rules.
United States. To have the inquiry and attribution data we hold about you deleted, write to hey@terslab.com with the subject “Delete my data” from the email address you used. We will reply to confirm the deletion. You can also limit measurement by blocking cookies in your browser or with the controls each provider offers.
Cookies and local storage
- The website keeps the attribution data described above in your browser's local storage, under the key terslab:attribution. Our code sends it only with an inquiry.
- The hosting checkout keeps a reference to the contract in local storage, so the return from Mercado Pago can be linked to the acceptance.
- The measurement tools loaded by Google Tag Manager set their own cookies, such as those of Google Analytics (_ga), the Google Ads conversion linker (_gcl_), Meta Pixel (_fbp) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk).
- You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. The website and its contact form keep working without them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or our providers change. The date at the top of the page shows the current version. Questions: hey@terslab.com.
